Angeles Motel

This is a great little mom and pop motel! Renovated rooms with all the amenities- huge TV, full size fridge, and microwave. They provide complimentary bottles of water and a jar of fresh coffee grounds, not just the typical hotel packets of coffee. Really friendly couple running the place. Parking is probably a little tight when it's full, but that wasn't the case when I was there. Located right on 101 but it was quiet at night for me. Minutes to downtown Pt A, 1/2 hr to Lake Crescent, and an hour to Sol Duc.

We enjoyed our stay at the Port Angeles motel. It was right down the road from the National Park visitor center which although was closed during the shutdown you could still hike the trails behind the center. It's also an easy walk to downtown Port Angeles and also easy access to the Olympic Discovery trail. Our room had two queen beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom was a little bit small but okay. The family that runs the motel was extremely helpful and friendly. They have a small area to do laundry and have many dishes, utensils and appliances to use in the kitchen. This made preparing our meals very easy! The only downside was your right on the busy road and it was a bit noisy and the room shook at times when a large truck went by. Otherwise it was a great stay.

This place is comfortable, tidy, and thought has been given to each detail. Even the open garage space and parking lot are neat and tidy, swept clean. Great motel! Clean, organized and simple. Nothing fancy, but we had a great stay. Manager was nice and helpful. We got a suite and it had everything we needed - including stove, full size fridge, sink and two rooms. Would recommend for sure.
