AmericInn by Wyndham Appleton North/Little Chute

This is a perfect hotel for a winter time visit. The indoor pool and hot tub provide a great place for kids to have fun even while it’s 10° outside. Our room was clean and the powerful shower was a plus!

Firstly, I would like to express my disappointment with my recent stay at this AmericInn location, which I consider to be the worst I have experienced. My family and I typically choose to stay at AmericInn by Wyndham properties. In this instance, I booked a two-night stay due to a family emergency, as my mother was hospitalized in Neenah after suffering a cardiac arrest and remains unresponsive. Given the frequency of my trips to the hospital, I opted for a budget-friendly hotel that offered breakfast to minimize additional expenses. Unfortunately, my vehicle's battery was dead due to the cold weather, and I was unable to check in on the first night. Our experience was not a good experience. The room was disgusting. Also had a very strong cooking smell in the room and outside in the hall area . The hot tub didn’t work. The pool was too cold for my kids to even get in. We booked for two nights, but we ended up leaving that same night. It was just gross and the smell was unbearable. we couldn’t even get a refund for the second night!!! Smh

Positive: "" Negative: Smelled like smoke. This hotel isn't what it used to be. Breakfast wasn't the best. American I n used to have a decent breakfast. Its gone downhill. Will stay somewhere else next time.

We have stayed here a few times and it’s always great. The workers/owners and reception area people are always polite and accommodating. Breakfast is hot and offers a good variety. What I love most is that every time I come here they are constantly remodeling and updating the hotel to make it better for the future. Not one issue at all! The pool was also clean and fairly empty for a Saturday. :)
