Americas Best Value Inn Tillmans Corner Mobile

We only stayed one night thank god. Noise from there guest all night, no saftey lock on door, plumbing is loud, for over $100 a night there should be a TV that doesn't take up the whole desk and better service. There is 1 channel for kids. Still haven't but out breakfast at 730 am we got told if we smoke we have to go to the field near the interstate. The floor light wont stop flickering. Ac makes a horrible noise. This was my first n only trip to this location. At 800am "breakfast" was put out if you can call only coffee a breakfast. Not even toast or crackers was put out, nor juice. Just coffee. We were told not to smoke near the hotel but then we got to turn in our keys and the lady who owns it is standing out front 2 foot from the door smoking a cigarette. Overall decent stay albeit the room was quite dirty, but it did serve its purpose. Given a smokers room although none of us were smokers nor did were we asked our preference. Like others mentioned, the A/C was amazing. Service was decent. Others complained about the area being sketchy... I didn’t find it to be that bad.

Where do I start. The rooms were dirty, headboard was coming off the wall, light dome in bathroom was missing, walls were dirty, hole partially through bathroom door, and rooms smelled musty. Bedspreads had burn holes all throughout the covers even though the rooms were supposed to be non smoking. Prices weren't that good since you did not get breakfast. Woman at front desk was nice but couldn't get cards to scan in properly to open our doors so it took extra time.

The room appearance at first was great, but the floor was so dirty. Once I removed my socks in room area and walked to the bathroom, my socks was dirty as hell! Please mop your floors. There was also a hole in the bathroom door that looks like someone tried to put their fist through it. Please fix that. Your hotel/motel is a perfect location for me when I'm in town and the price is not bad for what I need. I do expect the minimum though, if I revisit your location. After traveling 14 hours we decided to stop for the night. We have stayed at Americas best Value Inn before and never had a problem. The lady who checked my husband in was very nice. Our room was on the 1st floor room 117. In the bathroom on the wall was a spot of dry blood. The room was non smoking but the bed cover had cigarette burns. They claim to have a continental breakfast but dollar store pastries and coffee is not a continental breakfast they had no milk or juice. Luckily we had juice in our cooler for our son. My husband told the guy at the front desk about the blood and cigarette burns he acted like he didn't care and when he went to check out the same guy didn't even say thank you |
