Americas Best Value Inn Temple Killeen

Pros: There was a bed, toilet, and shower. The AC worked great. Cons: The room had obviously not been cleaned after previous guests: The bed had hair in it, we found several short hairs on room surfaces, greasy drips of something on the bedside table, a filthy floor, and used soap and shampoo in the shower. As for maintenance: the toilet didn’t flush well, sink filled with water while using, and the shower shot out in a stream like a power-washer. One window was broken and taped together. There was a dead bug and some black lint between the sheets. So…We slept in our clothes, walked with shoes on, showered in the morning and headed out. Yes, normally I would’ve asked for a cleaner room but we arrived at 12:30am and just wanted 6 hours of sleep and a shower. Too tired to spend another half

It is so refreshing to be remembered as a guest by management! I have stayed at this location a few times in the past but it had been a while and he still remembered me. If you're ever in Temple Texas, please stay at America's Best Value Inn, you will not be disappointed. From the location, to the room itself, everything was great!!

Rooms clean and roomy, roaches fairly prolific though -brother barely had dropped food on floor and I went to pick up and one on it. A/C worked ,TV fair size,nice table that pulled out to double size. Must c/o rudeness by desk (twice) so bad I had to tell him he needed to not be so rude, woman that checked me in also very curt and abrupt....only one in last afternoon we stayed very friendly at all. Also not offered or ask when extending if we needed room cleaned, fresh towels or coffee pod refill.

Positive: Last minute openings late night Negative: It had roach infestation, no TV use, shower heads dripped on us, sheets felt like they were dropped on an unvacuumed floor then put on, linens were stained and/or yellow, floor was not mopped it was sticky, phone didn't work to even contact front desk.

Horrible experience. Whole place is being renovated and it smells bad. Cigarette holes in our non-smoking bed sheets. They turned the water off at 11am with no notice and didn’t turn back on for 30 minutes. Water never got hot. Hairdryer didn’t work. Toilet didn’t stop running. Hallways were always rambunctious.
