Americas Best Value Inn Laramie

I stayed at America’s Best Value Inn for 1 night as a place to sleep coming across I-80 (its right off the interstate). Super affordable, compared to the other ones in Laramie I saw! The rooms was comfortable and clean, and the owners were very nice even though I woke them up at 1:00am. Easy check out in the morning and hit the road. Overall was totally worth it for the price!

Positive: For the area (Laramie) this hotel was safe & they tried to clean it well. We were able to get much- needed sleep while in a road trip. Negative: It’s expensive for an older hotel w very few amenities.

Do not stay here. Dirty sheets. Bed bugs. We always book our out of state hunting clients to stay here at America’s Best Value Inn. Tonight our clients came into dirty sheets and bed bugs under the mattress cover! They attempted to contact someone at the front desk to move them rooms and no one would come out. Our client, so dissatisfied and absolutely grossed out, left the key at the desk and booked his own room at the Holiday Inn. He has to be up at 4 am to hunt so having to move motels was an extreme upset. We called the motel immediately and the person who answered was so incredibly rude. Didn’t apologize , argued with us and said he would not refund our client. As local business owners ourselves we would never treat our clients like this and we are shocked anyone else would. They canceled our reservation to make more money on the room since every hotel in the area was fully booked. We made a reservation in April for our son’s graduation from Wyotech in June. We got into town and did not got straight to the hotel as we were trying to help him with a few details before he moved out. We got to the hotel at 11pm. Even though our reservation was non refundable they gave our room away and told us that we cancelled the reservation, which was verified to be untrue by booking.com. They would not answer the phone when the booking.com agent tried to call to tell them the booking was not cancelled. At 11pm we were left with no hotel options as all of the hotel options were booked full for the graduation.

Me and my two kids stayed here for one night, I was worried about getting my reservation because college graduation had all of the hotels booked, but checking in was super easy, was greeted with a smile and a super quick and easy check in. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, and the best water pressure and water temperature I've had in years at a hotel. AC worked great, fridge and microwave in the room. It seems to have been updated compared to older reviews i read, and keep a charming older vibe as well. Needs some repairs structurally, but looks like they are in the process of maintaining and improving. Very happy and satisfied.
