Americas Best Value Inn Gettysburg

I’ve stayed in a lot of places and sleep on a mattress I bought off Walmart’s website. I am not picky about beds. This place has the *worst* imaginable mattresses and they are small. You might as well sleep on the ground. The beds were smaller than standard. Again, I sleep on a cheap bed at home, it’s a double. This bed was smaller than a double. Our room had empty toilet paper holders, no tissues and all the fixtures seemed child size and the bathroom fixtures seemed lower than standard height (this was a 2nd floor room and there’s no elevator, so this wasn’t a room meant for accessibility for those using wheelchairs). We also had a cleaner walk into our room while we were getting ready. Like knock and immediate walk in. They also disabled keycard at 9:00 am - check out is 11 am. Not ju

Absolutely no complaints. This ticked the three main boxes for me: Clean, quiet and safe. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi worked fine, although not the fastest. The breakfast was basic; Grab and Go but the coffee was fine and there was a reasonable selection of bars and muffins etc. Plus there was seating outdoors. The grounds were neat and tidy. The room was decent size and comfortable, with all the expected facilities. And to top it all, great value. Location is a bit isolated which was an issue for me because I was relying on public transport. But overall for an Economy motel, it is good as any I've ever stayed in.

Positive: The staffs are friendly. Negative: The toilet doesn't flash that well, the bathroom sink water doesn't really go down fast enough and sometimes the water doesn't move at all and also the bedsheet I don't like the fact that is brown and looks dirty, the microwave need to be replace.

Stayed here for one night. The beds are very springy and very short...I am 5'4"...my feet were hanging off of the bed. Room was basic, not dirty. Will not stay again, if I want any sleep. Cheap place to stay, though.

Positive: Very clean Negative: Staff came to our door knocking twice earlier than check out time. Once at 830 am for room service and again at 9am for trash. Staff followed us around watching everything we did. This made us feel very uncomfortable.
