Americas Best Value Inn Danville

Booked this hotel for 2 days through Priceline. Hotel would not honor my late check in-(by 2 hours) even though they agreed when I made the reservation 2 weeks in advance. Waited until I was half way there to notify me that they would not honor my reservation and would not be giving me a refund. So I arrived 6 hours away from home with nowhere to stay with my 7 month old granddaughter and daughters. Will not book again.

The location is good .the rooms were neat and room smelled fresh.convenient for my plan.very spacious suite .I liked the price of the stay.The management was also good .The area feels safe with lighting in the parking lot .Overall it is clean

I was coming in late and was told I have until midnight to check in. Arrived at 11:30 p.m. and the office was locked. No one in the office, no one answered the phone. A complete disappointment. I drove back after a couple of minutes and took the picture to show the clock on the wall. After I made this post, Joe the GM replied by saying the clerkmay have left a sign on the front door. No, there was no sign. I rang the "Ring" doorbell, tried calling, I could hear the phone ringing inside. I waited til midnight. You still didn't answer the safety issue. What do you do when one of the guests calls down to the front desk?

The service was great, attendant late, but stayed in touch with his arrival status.

Very friendly front desk and great service overall. I appreciated the fast check-in and clean, tidy room.
