American Inn Motel

I live here. It's comfortable to me. They are the cheapest rent wise out of the other 4. The rooms have some structural problems, There's good decent people who live with us, not a lot of problems besides that this is a bad area to live around. If a person needs a few days to chill this is the place to go

My husband came in a wheelchair and since he's an ambulatory wheelchair user he was able to stand up and get up the stairs to go into the main office. We pushed his wheelchair inside and inquired about pricing. They later as we were leaving tried to accuse us of stealing their wheelchair yet wouldn't pull up the camera footage nor get the police involved. They were so insistent we were stealing their wheelchair yet it was obviously ours. Infact it had his name on the back??? The crazy desk lady wouldn't listen. They also tried to charge for a Service dog which is highly illegal. They legally cannot. It's not about "policy" It's Federal law a buisness cannot charge extra since legally the service animal is considered medical equipment. I have reported them for that. So I would definite

I stayed here for week last summer and I was robbed of almost 1k by another patron. Thankfully they had cameras so she was caught and taken to jail however my money was never returned and upon searching my room, I was astounded at the sheer number of little drug baggies all under stuff, virtually everywhere that I could have potentially been held accountable for all because no one knows how to clean a room. The male owner, older fella was absolutely RUDE to me when I demanded some of my money back as I wanted to go somewhere else due to being robbed and such. Luckily for me the housekeeper held onto an item for over a month and kept it safe for me. Thanks guys. I would steer clear of this dump too. Not safe!

This motel is NOT all the bad things that I’ve seen posted or hear. There are NO bed bugs here the rooms I’ve stayed in are not eat off the floor clean but they are clean and the owners here are very straight forward with you and understanding but they aren’t fools and they do care.

As far as being in town it's a decent location of you don't mind all the ghettoness ,that's not a word I don't think, lol but other then that cheapest place in town for room and don't be surprised if you see a roach or 2 and make sure you look carefully for bed bugs.
