AMC CLASSIC Desert Star 15

The theater is nice but the staff can work on greeting customers a little bit better. Also, we lost a glove in the theater so we were looking for it after the lights came up. Whew, you need to do a really good scrubbing under the seats. They are filthy. No one would notice it unless, like us, we had to look for something. But, just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it shouldn't be cleaned thoroughly. On a brighter note, your sound surround is great and your seats are comfortable.

We had a chance to visit the theater for two movies. The fiest Avatar Fire and Ash and second for Zootopia 2. The first time it was pretty smooth and we almost had the theater to ourselves. The seats were nice, although they didn't recline. The spaces were nice and clean. The second time was more crowded, but doable. We definitely had to do a little searching for the seats to find one. The front desk staff was nice and friendly, but they weren't as fast with transactions.

This place wasn’t great. I’m actually surprised by how much it was lacking. I am here on vacation and thought it would be similar to other theaters with comfortable recline seats, fresh food, etc. it wasn’t that way at all. They had very old school theatre seating that was uncomfortable, the popcorn tasted stale, the young lady who checked us out looked and acted like she would rather be anywhere else in the world than where she was. She got the order of a large combo wrong twice ) just a large popcorn and 2 large drinks). She kept trying to charge us separately for each item. The theatre we were in to watch Greenland 2 had broken seats ( these reclined but not in a way that you wanted) and some of the rows were a bit too close together so if your tall, your knees would be up against the s

First off, we went to an evening showing on "Thanksgiving" and there was no hot food being made. We were expecting to have dinner and a movie. Only options were popcorn and nachos.. there should have been better planning for the holiday. What a disappointment. We wanted to leave but our kids were so excited to see a movie, so we settled on nachos. Cheese was barely luke warm. Chips had a funny taste. THE SEATS, the seats are uncomfortable. The theatre felt dirty. There was popcorn on the floor when we entered, so no cleaning was done between showings. As much money being raked in for the area, the seats absolutely should be upgraded, and with no price increase! Stop being cheap. The prices certainly aren't cheap. First and last time seeing a movie here.

I am not going to act like this is the pinnacle of movie theaters, but we had a great time. It was almost empty and the ticket prices were low. That's awesome, in my opinion.
