Alpine Retreat rentals

We booked here because seeing Fallingwater has been a lifelong dream and this is one of the closest b and b’s. The location is stunning, with fresh mountain air and a spectacular view. The house is kept spotless and the beds are so comfortable. Most amazing is Julie, the owner/host. She has info on everything local and goes out of her way to help guests with their plans. She cooks up a wonderful full breakfast - no stale doughnuts and weak coffee here! This is someone who was born to host people; a people person who goes above and beyond. We will be back, with our kayaks next time, and plan to tell the world about this piece of alpine paradise. Thanks Julie!

We had a great time at Alpine Retreat. Hot tub was perfect seats 5 comfortably. Deck is big and had a great view. Rooms were cozy with dark wood paneling. Water was not even with 10 people in the house. Kitchen had a large island and large dining table. 5 minute drive to the lake.

Beautiful ! If you are looking for a place to kick back and relax this is the place for you! The owner is very nice , she makes you feel like a welcome friend. The breakfast was delicious . Lots of places to sit and take in the view of nature . Hot tub added to the relaxing atmosphere. We had great conversations around the fire pit in the evening with fun and friendly people who were also spending the weekend.

The setting is a perfect slice of hillside paradise. The house manages to be both spacious and cozy at the same time and there can be no better host than Julie. Every detail has been thought of and Julie can find, solve or suggest anything you can think of. Her knowledge of the area is encyclopedic. We went to see Fallingwater and she gave us lots of useful tips beforehand. Her breakfasts are a work of art - farmhouse spreads with the best scrambled eggs anywhere and a whole lot more. The smell of bacon cooking is a wonderful thing to wake up to.

Location. ||You can walk to Seven Springs Mountain Resort from Alpine Retreat. Parking is easy in and easy out, I recommend in heavy winter and tough seasons to contact the host to make sure all roadways are safe if you don't have 4 wheel drive. ||||Alpine Retreat. ||A home more comfortable than home. It is warm and cozy and inviting. The two fireplaces are fully stocked with wood, the fridge is stocked with all necessities and extra beverages and food (in case you lack preparation... such as I). Also everything is labeled so you don't have to search to find anything in the kitchen or throughout the house.||||There is firewood well stocked, with an outdoor firepit for cooking and relaxing. Underneath an outdoor deck that can host a large group, with a grill and bar, sits a six-person jacuz
