Alpenrose Inn

Can't say enough good things about the Alpenrose. My first time there and it felt like I was staying with family. Amazing breakfasts, comfortable beds, and plenty of common spaces including a full game room. 15 minutes to Stratton or Bromley was a plus!

Owners Anne and David do an awesome job..! They are very welcoming and friendly. Their cook to order breakfasts are a wonderful way to start the day. The rooms and common areas are comfortable, clean and well appointed. The drive to Stratton Mountain Ski Resort is quick and easy. Alpenrose is one of our regular stops every ski season...!! Our Australian Shepherd Bindy enjoyed playing with their grand pup Tilly. Fun time...!!

The Alpenrose has become a "home away from home" for us when we visit Southern Vt. As avid skiers, we love the Inn's close proximity to Stratton and Bromley mountains. |Innkeepers Annie and David offer delicious breakfasts with lots of choices from French toast to blueberry pancakes, eggs and bacon etc. The beds are very comfortable and the common areas offer cushy couches to lounge in and relax with a glass of wine after a fun day on the slopes.

Innkeepers Anne and David were extraordinarily kind and flexible with me and my border terrier Clover. They made us feel instantly welcome and at home. The “Ethan’s Alley”’dog-friendly room was extremely comfortable and met all of Clover’s and my needs. I will be staying at the Alpenrose Inn anytime I come to the area!

Great location - super close to Stratton and Bromley. Warm, easy going and understanding hosts. Anne is an amazing cook - we had dinner at the inn both nights of our stay and loved it all! ||Lots of privacy and comfortable shared spaces. Comfortable beds, great linens, everything clean.
