Aloha Beach Club

I texted and e-mailed Aloha Beach Club with my concerns and received no response (it has been 2 weeks since). We decided to leave a day early because of the condition of the cottage. The cottage we stayed in is very run down, dirty and full of bugs. The sliding door does not lock and has to use a piece of wood to make the door not open. The dresser in one bedroom is completely missing a drawer. The mattresses are very old. The power strip connecting the tv to the outlet has wires showing. The cord connecting the furnace has wires showing. The shower drain is not attached and comes off. The kitchen chairs have many stains - you can pick up new chairs at Goodwill I'm sure for $5 a piece that are in better condition. There were many spiders and flies living in the cottage. There was no heat only a small little heater in the living room, (for four rooms) which didn’t work most of the time,there was very little hot water in the bathroom Sink One of the bedrooms butted up against the Internet/cable room and it buzzed all night long very loudly the Internet/cable went out on the second day and never returned. Called to get someone to fix it. Nobody ever showed up. The bed I slept in, was full of sand. I would not recommend this place EVER

This place is exactly what you'll get for the money. If you're looking for a four-star hotel this is not it. You are booking this spot because of how cheap it is and the great location . The new owners are trying to fix it up, so excuse their mess. There are enough parking spots now. Yes the rooms are old and not perfect. But the beds and couches are extremely comfortable and the air condition works Great. Come to this place for the amazing beach the beautiful water and awesome activities. We made friends that hopefully we see many times over our life. Bring your own towels . Throw away your trash. They provide all the firewood. They send you a text message upon arrival so you have your code to get into your cottage. If you read this review before you go you'll have a great time.

Run down cabins for the price and new owners almost doubling prices for 2023. Do not stay here - want total for stay up front instead of deposit to reserve. Are not honoring return guests to reserve for following year with deposit. No towels or other amenities included. Your better off in a hotel. Cabins ate old and not very clean. Dishes and kitchen cooking equipment dirty and old. Had to buy my own pans to cook..

We arrived and called for check in code as instructed, no answer. Several calls over the course of a couple hours and we finally got ahold of the owner and checked in. Once inside we were appalled at condition of the place. Leaking ceiling / cob webs & spiders everywhere / filthy! We would of slept in the car before sleeping here. Thankfully we booked through ABNB and got a full refund and stayed elsewhere.
