Aloft Orlando Downtown

Stayed here for the first time with family for my birthday. Ivy at the front desk is AMAZING! She recognized that it was my birthday and the staff went to extra lengths to say happy birthday and even sending a small dessert to my room and birthday card. The lobby area is very nice, loved the bar, and there’s even a game area. The rooms are very clean and plenty of space with good views. We love this hotel and will return each time we are in Downtown Orlando! ❤️ 😊 🥰

⭐⭐⭐ 3 out of 5 stars||I stayed at the Aloft Hotel Downtown Orlando and had a mixed experience. The room itself was very spacious, which was a big plus, and the staff—especially the bartender—were extremely friendly and welcoming. The location is also great and very convenient.||That said, there were some notable downsides. There were no toiletries in the room, which was surprising and inconvenient. I stayed on the 8th floor, and the noise from cars on the nearby highway was significant and made it very difficult to sleep. Additionally, the QR code for the in-room dining menu didn’t work, nor did the option in the app. While the front desk did text us the menu personally (which I appreciated), the food options were very limited.||Overall, the hotel has a great location and genuinely friendl

We booked a suite at Aloft Orlando Downtown specifically for the downtown location, travelling with friends and planning to spend the evening together on foot. Approximately two hours before arrival, while we were already driving to Orlando, the hotel sent an email advising that they could no longer honour our reservation due to overbooking. We did not see this message in time and only became aware of the situation once we were at the hotel. On arrival, we were informed that we were being relocated to a Hilton Garden Inn around 20 minutes outside downtown. This was a clear downgrade from what we booked from a downtown Aloft suite at a premium rate to a basic room at a significantly lower-value, out-of-area property. Great stay! Not sure why it’s only a 3 star hotel. It was far nicer than a 4 star that I stayed at the other night. The rooms were very large and quiet and the service was exceptional! I want to particularly give a shout out to Kadeem at the front desk!
