Nice hotel. No where does show the words Marriott but whatever….its in a busy part of the city. We stayed here one night before our cruise. The curse port is only 5 miles away and the hotel offers transportation that you have to set up the night before (by 9pm) which cost $12 per person. Hindsight we wished we would chose Uber or Lyft, as we checked the price while we were waiting in the lounge for the hotels van transportation and Uber was $9. I will attach pictures of the transportation set up via the hotel. Nice rooftop pool and beautiful views in the evening. We were the only ones up there for a little while. We walked about 20–25 minutes to a nearby Catholic Church, also walking by a convenience store, which we picked up a couple bottles of wine at $9 each after mass to take on the

On my final night of touring South Florida, I stayed at the Aloft Fort Lauderdale Airport.|| This is a mere five minutes away from the airport terminals. ||The room was actually decorated differently to any other Aloft I’ve ever stayed at. ||The colour scheme was not its usual turquoise orange and yellow but had more Floridian feel to it with turquoise, pink and white. From a branding perspective it was nice to see that the Aloft can spice things up a bit! ||The beds in the room were comfy and the bathroom was also spacious with some very quirky wallpaper of dinosaurs walking on a beach! ||On this occasion I wasn’t here long enough to enjoy the breakfast but like other Alofts the food offerings are particularly disappointing these days and I much prefer just to be able to grab something fr

When we got to the hotel (on time), the room was not ready. We were told to wait on the roof deck. That was fine because there was bar up there. But when we got there the bar was not open. So we had basically nothing to do while waiting for our room. So we had to take a walk down the road and cross a very busy road to go somewhere for food and drink. When we finally got our room a couple hours later (no discount for the missing hours we had no access to the room of course), the room was cute and clean. There was no lock on the bathroom door. At night we went down to the bar, as did everyone else staying there, and there was only one bartender/waitress for everyone which made service extremely slow. When it was time for sleep the light would not go out. We had to sleep with the lig

My husband and I chose this hotel for the location but we're really impressed with the boutique hotel feel and the fun modern style. Since we came from the airport without a car the parking was not relevant to us. For quick layovers, relaxed pre cruise, it's absolutely perfect. We don't need dressers or anything more in the room. The floor to ceiling windows with motorized shades were very beautiful. Our sweet friendly pool bartender was excellent. We grabbed coffee and bananas in the am. The 0530 am shuttle driver was great.i am personally not a fan of the sliding door to the bathroom because they slide open a bit but my husband didn't care. I enjoyed the facilities and thought it was very relaxing. I am sure the 14.00 breakfast works but we chose to go elsewhere. We will stay there ag

We booked a 2 queen wheelchair accessible room. The beds were too close to get the wheelchair in between them. The sides of the beds were even narrower. Making it very difficult to get in bed as I am partially paralyzed from the waist down. Beds were comfy and at a good height. Toilet room was tight but doable. Room was clean. Front staff was helpful and kind. Breakfast was good for $15 a person. Restaurant food was meh. Just heated bar food. Go to Kiki's Mexican restaurant next door.
