Alhonna Resort & Marina

This was a nice little place in a quiet location. Cabin I had (#6) looked really neat, even though it was behind the "hotel" part. So not much of view except of the building. Still had neat "curb" appeal with a nice little deck. Inside was a little dated and had some issues due to age. Furniture was older and worn, and cover for the daybed had what looked like dried blood. Bedroom was pretty bare (bed/nightstand), but clean. Water pressure was good & actually had hot water, so that was nice. Bathroom was clean but only 3 small bars of soap for toiletries. I bring my own anyhow. There were dishes and a coffee pot, but no coffee supplied. I didn't use any, since only there overnight. Fireplace was a nice touch, but it's a real fireplace and I didn't buy any wood to try it. Husband and I had a great time here. We haven’t left the house since February, when Hubby had his stroke and is now in a wheelchair. We were pleased that there were handicapped ramps but the hills were steep. Staff was always willing to help and assist us with anything we needed. |Michelle Canon, office staff, was really friendly. And Chelsea, office staff, was very helpful to us. Thank you

We stayed there in November and totally enjoyed it... (I think condo #26) The service was both kind and professional, and the condo was very clean and we'll kept. There are plenty of things to do, with lots of boat docks, 2 pools... one indoor, one outdoor even a fishing house! I do recommend this resort.

We stayed in Cottage 4 last year and loved it — peaceful, quiet, and with an amazing lake view. It was such a relaxing November getaway that we decided to stay longer this year. The porch is private, perfect for reading and enjoying the quiet. Staff have always been friendly, both years, and maintenance has been great. This time the shower curtain was stuck together and couldn’t keep water in, but maintenance replaced it the next morning and even fixed the living room curtain rod that had been broken for a while. They were polite, fast, and helpful. Whoever stays next will have a smoother experience thanks to those fixes. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness wasn’t what we hoped for. We always bring cleaning supplies when we travel because we’ve learned to expect dishes that aren’t wel

What rooms are in what building isnt clearly marked. The AC unit was so loud it woke us up multiple times during the night. The room itself was nice, but bring your own coffee and paper towels. We didnt have any water one morning and the front desk was accommodating, allowing us to use another room with water. Lots of mosquitoes around, including in the room, which isnt their fault.
