AIBF South RV Lot

Leveled, mostly on gravel ground, spacious, easy access to bike path to go to balloon fiesta. Some rubbish near cemetery and along the fence. Too many goatheads for the pets to walk on comfortably. No grass for dogs.

You aren't here for the lot.... Here for the Balloon Fiesta. Best tip as a volunteer who worked this lot is to get here as EARLY as possible for the best site. Early means several days before the balloons officially start launching even though they do small morning launches about daily.

Great RV parking for those attending the Fiesta! Not too far and there are courtesy shuttles to and from the parking and fiesta. One downside is that there is a $30 dump fee if you want to dump more than you have passes. They say full hook up in premium but it only provides water and electricity! You get 1 dump pass per day for premium. The front desk was extremely nice though! Very glad to have them help us.

This is a GREAT place to stay during Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta! They have regular buses to transport folks from here to the Fiesta during all sessions. This provided a great way to keep out of (and contribute to) traffic. Great value!

We were very comfortable for our weeks stay. The provided shuttle to the Balloon Fiesta was great! We are planning on returning next year for a longer period.
