AEI at The Mahana Kaanapali Resort

We stayed at AEI at the Aston Maui Kaanapali Resort and had a great experience. The location is excellent in Kaanapali, close to Whalers Village and Kapalua Bay, which is a great area for snorkeling and surfing. The rooms and guest areas were very clean and well maintained. Our suite had a full kitchen with all the necessary cookware, which made it easy to prepare meals when we didn’t want to go out to a restaurant. The suite also included a washer and dryer, which was very convenient. The hotel offers barbecue areas, both covered and uncovered, which were easy to use and located around the pool. The pool area was quiet and relaxing, with a hot tub, and the beach was beautiful. There is a beachfront path with a secure access code that connects nearby resorts, making it ideal for walking

Amazing experience. I paid for a courtyard room, but to my surprise, I still had a view of the ocean! I saw the best sunset of my life from that balcony. My room was a junior suite, so I had a full kitchen, a nice big bed, TV, balcony with a shade, table, and two chairs, and of course, the bathroom. I wish I stayed longer, which would have been easier and cheaper to do with that little kitchen. Everything was so convenient – there is a Hawaiian BBQ restaurant and a grocery store right across the street, as well as a snorkel Bob’s. They were so friendly and helpful there and helped me book an excursion after the one I booked from home wasn’t great. There is also a food truck court, with some local craft artisans, right next-door. The hotel itself had at least three stores! A convenience sto
