Adriatic Motel

Did not stay but did ask for to use the pool for public swim for residence of Osoyoos. Gave me a hard time and said depends on who wants to use it. Explained it was myself my daughter and grandson of the age of 1 yr. he answered me with rudeness saying you take a baby swimming ? We don’t allow that. We have swimming diapers and would be very careful and obviously holding him at all times. He wouldn’t have it. I’m sure older kids and unfortunately some adults pee in his pool. But whatever....

We selected this motel completely at random after driving for most of the day. It was a bit unusual to fine a taxidermied bear in the check in area. Not clear as to why it is there. Perhaps it is because "no pets are allowed".||||The room was a bit small but was clean and the beds were comfortable. No issues with the WiFi.||||My wife enjoyed to swimming pool and hot tub.||||An easy walk to several dining establishments and the lake is close by.

Our second visit and although the owner is crusty, the one bedroom was great. Wonderful pool and hot tub. Excellent WiFi. |Place is spotless. Bed was good although I did use my own pillow. |Walking distance to several restaurants. |

This place is stuck in a 70's time warp: dated rooms, and very little in the way of upgrades (e.g. no internet info in rooms, old TVs, etc). Some other reviewers commented on the stuffed animals in the lobby - yeah, the owner has his own sense of style.||||However, the room and the bathroom were clean, and I slept a comfortable night. ||||The rate of $105 a night seemed high for what was offered.||||So, adequate is not high praise. It was clean. I slept. I left.

Nicely maintained property! Great customer service. The manager was kind and welcoming. The WiFi was updated and works very well now! The pool is great year round! MOST beautiful peaceful surrounding view. Quiet good nights rest. Great location, close to everything we needed! We defiantly be back!
