Admiral Motor Inn

So my wife and I stayed at this hotel we were down the street at Bermuda and the Slummy type of people That we’re running around Bermuda drove us away, so we decided to check out the admiral motor inn And let me tell you this place is a hidden gem Every step of the way from the third shift Lady that was beyond respectful and sweet and went out of her way to accommodate to the next day the manager, realizing my wife didn’t have a key so she intentionally made a key and handed it to my wife personally sometimes it is the small gestures that means so much and then we went to the room and it was so clean. It was so quiet Plenty of parking and nobody asked me to write this review check this place out for yourself. It was very affordable indefinitely undercharged for the quality of the room and

The only good thing about this place is the water pressure and the location. My door kept locking me out, at first they implied that I had my key next to my phone (I know better). They replaced my key twice before thinking it might be the batteries in the door lock, they replaced the batteries and it worked once then broke again. They had to replace the whole handle. Floor felt nasty and left our feet black. The “local” residents were always outside smoking and some had dogs even tho I was under the impression this place was smoke free and not pet friendly The pool looked nasty and I wouldn’t want to swim around with the locals that just hang around outside and people watch, idk it’s just weird and uncomfortable.

I call this place my hidden gem. It’s not a luxury hotel/motel. What it is, a comfortable, CLEAN, affordable, and most importantly oceanfront motel. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, they make you feel like family. I was asked everyday before housekeeping left if I had everything I needed. I personally don’t mind climbing a few stairs to get to the beauty that unfolds when you open your door and see the ocean right off of the balcony. I’m picky, I love my luxury hotels. I do not look at any other place to stay when I travel to Myrtle. Beach. This place is it (I go at least 6 times per year). Great hotel to stay at esp if you have a family with kids. The staff is very understanding and patient. We were about a hour behind Schdule to check out due to a baby becoming ill and they did not complain and told us to take our time, no rush, no worries. Plus the location couldn't be in a better spot if you plan on visiting the beach often for beach access is literally one minute from the beach

It was a good stay. The room was okay, nothing fancy. But an hour and a half after checking in and letting the hotel have my credit card someone's fight my car and it was making flights to Mexico. It was a fraud alert so I had to cancel my credit card and was left for 5 days without credit. Very disturbing!! So I suspect someone in the accounting department is not as honest as they could be. I gave them five stars so that maybe I can save someone else from ruin a vacation.
