Admiral Dewey Inn

The Inn although more like a B & B (as there is no restaurant) is a perfect place to stay to be near the Ocean. The living room and dining room were nicely appointed with antiques. Our guest room with private bath was clean. We appreciated that there were no televisions on the property. Very nice atmosphere, we will be back again.

I couldn't recommend the Admiral Dewey more highly. We recently bought out the entire Inn for our wedding and had an absolutely exceptional experience. From day one, the General Manager Emily Burns, treated me like family. She was extremely kind, helpful, and responsive. She answered my million questions and even recommended other wedding-related vendors to look into for our big day. The Inn itself is beautiful and was a great spot for pictures. We also used the entire space for our welcome event the night before and received rave reviews. The location can't be beat! We are so happy with the way everything turned out. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this nice B & B. Emily the hard working GM was hospitable and friendly. Great location, short walk to the beach. It was nice that there was no television, room was spotless and quiet. Our first visit, we plan to return again soon.

My husband booked this inn for Family Weekend at URI after I failed to secure accommodations early. On paper this place looked great! I love to stay in old places, so this seemed to be up my alley, especially with the renovations. We received a call around 6:30 pm on the day of check in to see if we would be there by 8 pm as she was leaving work then. She was very nice and not at all rude. We ensured her we would be there around 7 so that shouldn't be an issue. There is no one on staff at all in the evening/overnight. In the morning, there is a very light breakfast. Coffee, tea, lemon poppyseed bread, bagels, English muffins, yogurt, granola, and fresh fruit. Aside from the yogurt there is no protein available. There is a common fridge in a small kitchen area to store leftovers, e
