Adelma Beach Cabin Properties

Sure, you have to walk down some stairs to get to the house, but you end up right on the beach with easy access to the water and beach combing. Been here four times now and never been disappointed. For the kids, there are plenty of treasures to be found, including shells, sea glass, driftwood, and sea creatures. We've also seen seals and otters off the pier. For the adults, it's clean, the beds are comfortable, there's wifi, the grill is in great condition, and the deck is sunny and fabulous. Plus, the place is just a quick trip to downtown Port Townsend. We'll be back.

So pleased to have booked a long weekend at Adelma Beach Properties for a family with kids that loves the beach, and have stayed here before. The cabin has an upper unit and a lower unit and is located about 3 feet from Discovery Bay. We prefer the upper unit, because it sleeps more people. It's all furnished. Nothing that fancy, which is OK because it's a beach cabin. There is a propane BBQ for each unit and a sandy place above the beach, with a firepit, where kids can play if you don't want them actually on the beach. There is also a dock although not for boats. You do need to use a staircase to reach the cabin from the parking area; it's not so bad. The place is 5 miles from downtown Port Townsend so is close enough to the tourist town action but far enough away to be totally out of it.

Lots of bird watching, including bald eagles, kingfishers, and loons!||||Spectacular view from the deck and living room.||||Nice upstairs cabin has everything needed for a weekend stay. Shower is rustic, and there weren't enough lightbulbs for the lamps during our stay, but these are minor things.

Our family stayed here on vacation. The units were both nice and well furnished. They are right on the beach. The only down side is the amount of stairs you have to go up or down on. Overall would stay again.
