Abbott Acres

We had a fantastic time at Abbott's! This place is a great place to get away from everything and spend some relaxing time on the lake or in the forest. There is no wifi or TV, so you are really able to put everything down for a bit and enjoy the solitude. Mary and her family are very kind and helpful. They go the extra mile to make you comfortable and make your stay pleasurable. (Thanks for the bedding when my daughter came up, the use of your blender, and the cutting board. My grandaughter loved the sand toys you brought out as well!) It can be tough to get into because of the return renters, but if you find an opening, it is very worth it. It is quiet and secluded. At night all the stars in the sky are visible and the milky way makes an appearance often. The cottages are quaint and comfortable. Definitely recommend

Got to go back after 40 years last summer and I'm sorry it took so long to get back. It was just how I remembered it. Such great memories of being a kid on Stony Lake with parents and brothers. I will be back in June and can't wait.
