Sunset Bay Resort

We go every year and it is the highlight of our summer. Our four kids love this place. They have EVERYTHING you need to enjoy the lake. (All included with your cabin rental) We now have friends who enjoy this resort with us every year. It is truly a restful place, beautiful scenery and lake. A hidden gem. The owners are so hospitable and eager to share ideas to make your time the best!

This place is amazing. Penny and Arnie do an awesome job of providing an experience that is long forgotten in the world today. This place is so peaceful that after spending a week there, I wanted to stay another week and it took everything I had to have to leave even when I wished I didn't have to. I sleep in my cabin with the door wide open and never worried once something was going to happen. The kids get an outdoor experience that reminds me of past days. Remember when you played outside all day long and only had to come in when the street lights came on? That's what you will experience at Sunset Bay Resort. Nice cabins at a reasonable price. Beautiful lake with a nice beach (beach toys provided). Enjoy the fire pits to roast hotdogs and make s'mores in the evening. Excellent customer service provided by the owners. I highly recommend Sunset Bay Resort!

Sunset Bay Resort is one of our favorite places. Great family resort. The waffle brunches are amazing. One of the prettiest lakes we've seen. Penny and Arne are the best, very friendly.

Six of us rented a cabin here for three nights late September. Place is clean, utensils and plenty of towels. We rented the pontoon for the weekend which was roomy for us all.
