Woman Lake Lodge

We have stayed twice at Woman Lake Lodge, both times at the beginning of Sept. If you want a rustic place on a beautiful lake the lodge is good. We stayed at Beach 3 both times as it is quieter there and the lake view is unbroken from that cabin. Added this year was an antenna for the television in our room and it sometimes worked, cutting out frequently. If you book this cabin be sure and ask if the internet has been improved to reach this room in 2026, and if you book late in the season expect only major things that have broken down over the summer to be replaced. There are lots of activities for older teens and the nearby towns are fun to visit.

Wonderful place, some of the rooms are a bit dated and have some wear and tear. But the entire location has an amazing cabin feel and the cabins themselves are more than comfortable (other than the pull-out couches, those could be replaced). The staff themselves are AMAZING, super kind people, and always helpful! The site has a volleyball court, a new pickleball court, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and more for free rental. The boat docks are in great shape and the lake itself is beautiful with tons of fish to catch!

My family has been going to WLL for a week each summer for the last 5 years. We love it. The lake is beautiful, the owners are so friendly and helpful, the donuts are fantastic, and the cabins have all the amenities you could need. My only critique is that. some of the older playground equipment is getting to be borderline unsafe, but my kids look forward to their week at the lake all year long and there is plenty for them to do there.

I can’t say enough great things about our stay at Woman Lake Lodge. Alex and Lindsey are incredibly helpful and accommodating. The cabins were clean, cozy, and well-stocked—exactly what you’d want after a long day out on the water. As for the fishing it's always top notch. We come up every year to get spoiled. They have a cleaning station, boat slips and plug in's to keep your boat charged up for the next day. They have a pickle ball court, sand volleyball, sand area and playground for the kids. There's no shortage of fun things to do. If you’re looking for an authentic Minnesota fishing experience with top-notch service and scenery that takes your breath away, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back next year!

My family has been going here for a very long time and we have watched the quality significantly drop. The rooms are not taken care of properly. There are stains, boogers, and odd drips on the walls, areas that have been spackled but not painted. Furniture that has been here for a decade without change, dilapidating wood on the porch. This used to be a place of fun and love but the price raises have been significant without the tenants seeing any benefit. Lastly, the lodge where you can get clothes, donuts, and various other things used to feel so special and kind, now it feels lifeless. Please work on improving the stay for the people who pay thousands of dollars. For that price, we should be receiving a nice stay where we aren’t disgusted by the quality of our room.
