Abajo Haven Guest Cabins

Had a wonderful stay @ Abajo - the cabin was a nice place to get out of the chill - rode in on big touring bikes. Be sure to use the lower driveway if you do as well. Some loose rock and unstable base. Is fine for 4 wheel vehicles, but pretty sketchy for a big bike. Spent 3 nights at Abajo, Bill cooked for us twice..ribs, then chicken. Mmmmmmmm, very tasty and more than enough. Everything you want to do and see is easily accessed from Abajo: 4 corners, Monument Valley, Canyonlands, Arches, Zion, Glen Canyon, etc......Elbows up Bill!!!!!! hope to see you again :)

We loved our stay! We got there on a dark and snowy Friday night. Bill met us right when we pulled in and showed us to our cozy cabin. After hiking on Saturday he made us a delicious dinner to enjoy! It’s so peaceful and relaxing there! Saturday night was clear and the stars were incredible! Will definitely stay there again if ever in the area!

Our family just returned from an amazing week at Abajo Haven Guest Cabins. My husband and I, our daughter and grand children were very comfortable in the superior cabin. It was wonderful having the whole family together. We enjoyed a camp fire every night with toasted marshmallows and some-mores. Bill has a tremendous knowledge of the area and all of his suggestions were a hit with everyone in our party. We were usually the only ones on our outings, so nice to have a vacation without crowds. The archeology in the area is outstanding, which can be viewed from the road or on a hike. The Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum and the Dinosaur Museum are a must!

We had a fantastic stay at the Abajo Haven cabins, which are beautifully appointed and in a very quiet setting. Bill was extremely welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The only sounds were from the local wildlife! If you're into star gazing, this is definitely the place for you.

My daughter and I left the Grand Canyon and headed for Utah to stay 2 nights. We booked the superior cabin and it was perfect. Peace, solitude, the amazing stars in the night sky, comfortable beds. Bill provides a refrigerator, cooler, coffee maker, stove for cooking and outdoor grill for barbequing. Bill had the heat on for us and the cabin was warm and cozy. Bill's website advises guests to bring their own alcohol since Blanding is dry so I was prepared for that. However, a note to any future guests: Blanding is closed down on Sunday, no food stores, no restaurants. We arrived late on a Saturday evening and went to get some food on Sunday but nothing was open. We eventually found something at a gas station so bring food if you come on a weekend.
