A Place to Stay Reservations

I booked the stay through Booking.com. Once I realized it was not the location that I was traveling to, I requested a refund. I immediately contacted the owner via the app, through, text, and left a voicemail. The owner never returned my call. I kept reaching out over the course of 2 days and finally got a text response. The owner refused to refund my booking even though it was for 10 days through Christmas and New Years for work. First she said she wouldn't because there was a penalty against her from booking.com if she did. So I asked her about the penalty amount, and she stopped responding. The place was very awkward, no windows in the bedrooms. We were unable to adjust the thermostat it was locked. Says there is a Keurg, there is no keruig. Just a regular small coffee pot. The towels are old with stains. The sheets are even worse! We booked this trip a year in advanced. We are all family so we were super excited to seeing each other and to having a great time. Bandera is a cool little town and we had a ton of fun! But our stay at A Place to Stay was horrible! The owner is very rude! Her family members are very rude as well. This place is walking distance to everything in Bandera. The rooms are cozy and really clean. The whole place has a great vibe, clean bathrooms, full kitchen and a coffee bar. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for "A Place to Stay" close to all the shops and bars in Bandera. See what I did there.

Quaint little place to lay your head at night. It was cozy and clean. It had plenty of stuff in the kitchen for cooking or grilling. The location is awesome, only a few miles from the downtown area. The host was the sweetest, very accommodating!

It is what it is - a place to stay! It was the best deal I could get in the Fredericksburg/Kerrville/Boerne area for the night I needed to book a stay. Good for travelers passing through and need a place to rest their head. Easy in and out; hosts communicated clearly through Airbnb. I like that the former doctors office space has been repurposed as cozy, affordable accommodations. My main suggestion for improvement is cleanliness. My room was fine, except a few things in the small attached kitchenette room - coffee maker was dirty, there was a leftover wash cloth from the last guest, and when I went to plug something in, I discovered a pair of socks hanging on the microwave cord underneath the counter; I took a shower in the bathroom located in the communal kitchen area and it definitely n
