Boulderdash Cabin & RV Park

Stunning. My dog loved it! We saw many animals amazing place to get back in touch with nature, Good fishing, snorkeling was amazing, the camp site is well maintained, flat places for the tent. Trees were perfect for our hammock. Walk to the water is like three minutes with some rocks.The water is so clear, feel clean and wonderful, and its at its highest late spring, early summer. We went in September and it was deep enough to snorkel in. The owners were so nice. They stock the bathrooms with nice things. I would recommend.

We spent 2025 Thanksgiving week at Boulderdash, and it was fantastic. Extremely well run RV facility, strong stable power at the pedestal, good water, and well kept grounds. Small, but perfect for us because it was not overrun with people in golf carts, 4 wheelers, etc. The owners, Lyn & Carol-anne, have their residence right next door, and are available for any issues or questions. And they delivered warm pumpkin bread loaves to all campers on Thanksgiving! They have built a great escape with this RV park. There is also a house, an apartment, and a renovated RV available for rent. Bandera is about 10-15 minutes away, if you have to "do something". Highly recommended. We will be back!

What a gem! Carol-Anne and Lyn were amazing hosts at the cutest kept secret near Bandera. The campground was perfect -eclectic and had everything you could ask for-well kept sites, full hookups, views and salt-of-the-Earth hosts. Clean restrooms and a little store if you need it. We had an amazing time with our pups and will be back. The river was slightly flowing and our littlest pup loved the water. Can’t wait for a warm summer day to enjoy that ourselves!

I recently stayed at campsite number 1 by the river. It seemed like I had the entire place to myself and my pup. Very quiet and peaceful. Easy access to the river to swim and fish. Lots of firewood to collect for cooking fires. Lots of local deer came up to the campsite. The staff was amazing! We will definitely be back!

We stayed for 3 nights in RV spot 1 and loved it! Great hill country breeze and quiet location. The hike down to the river was not bad at all and paved most of the way. We felt like we had the whole river to ourselves! There was a spot to the left where you could swim and more shallow areas for the kids to play to the right (or course water levels will vary). The park owners were very nice and friendly and sell ice and firewood and a few other goods. The park was very clean and they even give a jar of deer corn to feed the deer! We will definitely be back!
