Yosemite Cedar Lodge

We stayed at Yosemite Cedar Lodge for one night, and the location was perfect, quiet and surrounded by beautiful mountains. We booked a room in the renovated section, which felt new and clean. The artificial fireplace was a nice touch. The kitchen was basic but met our needs, and the bathroom was spacious and modern, with a touch-light mirror and a strong shower. There’s plenty of parking, though it’s not assigned, so sometimes other guests parked in front of our room, and we had to park a little further away. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which was so weak that we couldn’t even check messages. We didn’t use the pool or restaurant, but the lodge has a small gift shop and a convenience store in the lobby. The staff who checked us in and out were friendly and helpful.

Positive: Location was perfect. Such a great hotel in the middle of nowhere. Pools and hot tubes were fun and the restaurants were a pleasant surprise. And full kitchen in room was perfect. We’d return. Negative: Parking was ample but not close to our room so we had to illegally park to pack up. Shower head was a bit low for me. Also, we didn’t know our room would have a full kitchen. Hard to complain, but we would have brought in different food for dinner.

I was honestly amazed by the room, it was so spacious, with a big comfortable bed, a cozy electric fireplace, a large TV, and a great shower! The Wi-Fi was free and worked perfectly the whole time (which is a big plus since there’s no cell service in this area). The location is incredible, just a short drive to Yosemite National Park! There’s also a small store and a couple of cafés nearby. (You can even buy instant noodles in the store and make them if you don’t like the café options or prices.) There are even three swimming pools on the property! The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Very good price and great hotel room for the stay. We got a free upgrade to a better room category and enjoyed it very much. Hotel is very clean. Free parking for everyone. Very close to the national park entrance. Only 30 min. drive. We arrived in the park early with no waiting time! One of the only restaurants is located next to the hotel. Food was very good. Also there is a small shop to buy groceries. Would stay here again and recommend it to friends anytime!

My family and I stayed overnight on July 30. We had a queen Murphy bed, a king and a small kitchenette. The hotel was perfect and clean. The pools are extremely clean. I also love the idea of the hotel having 3 pools, so it doesn't get overly crowded. It has 2 outdoor pools and one indoor. I loved their in sight gift shop. It is nicely organized and priced. The hotel is about 8 miles from Yosemite entrance, perfectly situated.
