Wyoming Motel Wheatland

I stayed in this hotel when I moved to Colorado in 2017 we were driving it was like 2:00 in the morning and just had to pick any place we could find and it worked well just for being able to get off the road long enough to sleep and then get back on the road it was nice and creepy it made for a good story for on the whim decision to move across the country the hotel was not great at all whatsoever nonetheless I do like that it is a part of my story. This janky little random town in Wyoming, hotel with the ceiling looking moldy the bed's hard as rock a random desk at the edge of one of the beds, room smelling like mold and stuff from the previous person who rented that room still in the bathroom, for all I know it was haunted that would have been the cherry on top.

The room was pretty roomy, needs updating. But was clean and what we needed for the 6 hours we were there. The reviews I read stated that some of the bathrooms were gross and disgusting. Ours was just fine. Could use new pillows though.||We showed up at midnight, and I had to pound on the door of the office, as it was closed and the door bell did not work. After a few minutes the owner came and was friendly and helpful.

We had booked 2 rooms a month and a half ago. When we arrived the night of check in, the front desk clerk stated there we no rooms. She was rude, obnoxious, dismissive, and acted like she was more inconvenienced than we were. Silver lining, while we were waiting for this unprofessional, unpleasant individual to answer the door, we got a good view of the grounds and the occupants. Based on what we saw, the businesses idiocy saved us the inevitable stolen property report with the police department

My wife and I stayed here last week for one night on our way to Cheyenne. the room was clean. That is all we can say that is good.||||The bed was flat on one side and sloped down to the floor on the other side. Over the years many people had sat on that edge of the bed. Anyone sleeping over there found themselves gradually rolling to the edge of the bed and beyond as the night wore on. I woke up and caught myself and reached out to the high side of the bed and tried to pull myself up to the middle like a climber going up the Hillary Step on Mount Everest.||||There was a huge crack around the door. I could look out and see our car without opening the window or door. God knows what a minus 20 degree wind from the north would do the that room in the dead of winter.||||It was 96 degrees when w

My door wouldn't lock you could push it open, the room was not clean. I had to clean it myself. Lastly, no mf hot water! Update... I should of updated this sooner. This situation was dealt with. Our manager not only switched our room she gave a free night for our trouble.
