Wynken Blynken & Nod B & B

I stayed here because it was across the street from Juniper where my Dad was living. I stayed a week and was impressed with the great breakfast. The rooms are big and they are a good value for the cost. Don and Lynnell are warm and inviting hosts. I found Dons stories about their farm and his other jobs very interesting. I will stay here any time I visit Meadville and would recommend it to anyone else who wants friendly B+B experience.

I stayed for a week while visiting my mother who stays at the Juniper Village assisted living facility. This bed and breakfast is conveniently located in the center of Meadville and just across the street from Juniper Village. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed breakfasts, which Lynelle prepared daily. She and husband Don are great conversationalists, which added greatly to already outstanding breakfasts. So a great place, convenient location and marvelous hosts.

Ran a half marathon in the area. The hosts Don and Lynnell are quite simply the sweetest most interesting people. Everd need was met. They were flexible and allowed a late breakfast. Attended to our every need. The place was clean and homey. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Their place is the reason I don't like Air BnB .. they know what it takes to make sure travelers are comfortable. Overall, one of the best ever and I've stayed in hundreds of B&Bs in my life. College kids who don't like to interact (the downfall of helicopter parents and too much screen time) would be out of place

We stayed at Wynken Blynken and Nod more than a year ago. I'm writing the review now because even a year later when we share our experience with others who have stayed there we find they had the same experience. Had we read a review expressing what we and others have experienced, we never would have stayed.||||The host and hostess are lovely genuine people who enjoy having guests in their home. The breakfast food is good, homecooked and bountiful. Lynell is a great cook and a very sweet lady. Her husband is quite the talker.||||The back house, where we stayed, is fabulously unique and historical - there is a lot of potential in the hosue and the rooms. But it is just odd. We have been coming to Wynken Blynken and Nod for several years now. Don and Lynnell are incredible hosts that go above and beyond to serve all their guests. This is NOT a regular bed & breakfast experience... You come as a guest and often leave as family and/or great friends. Come hungry for incredible breakfast and wonderful conversation.
