Wylder Hotel Tilghman Island

Staying at Wylder was a serene and stunning experience. Ramon took such good care of us; giving us great local reccs and even upgraded our room, because there was so much availability during our midweek stay. Their onsite restaurant and bar are fantastic and we absolutely loved “If two by sea”, the breakfast spot around the corner. We watched the birds and boats and water every morning and we were sad to leave. Room was nice and so was pool, but it was a little too cold to swim while we were there. We will definitely be back!

Great little cozy venue for both the wedding we went to and hotel room we stayed at. We were here for just 1 night for our friends wedding. In that short time we noticed the hotel room was very cute and clean and every staff member we came across was kind and courteous. Such a beautiful area with great views all around. The food was good too. I wanted to give a special shoutout to Ramon who went above and beyond to locate my daughter's most beloved stuffy! Thanks so much for your help, you saved our trip.

I had an amazing stay at Wylder Hotel Tilghman Island. I was in love with the waterfront view that looked epic for sunrise every morning. The room was very cozy and spacious enough for me and my friend. They offer free continental breakfast which is a bonus and they have a heated pool for the colder season. Don’t forget to check out their amazing onsite seafood restaurant, if you can’t eat all the seafood like me they have plenty other options on the menu. This is the perfect retreat to explore Tilghman Island.

Lots of charm, great setting, wonderful spot for a weekend getaway. We celebrated our anniversary and enjoyed the scenery and great food at the hotel. Property consists of the "main house" and several bungalows, lovely seating areas overlooking the bay and marina. Restaurant has indoor and outdoor sections, with live music on weekends. Food was pricey, but excellent. ||It's a very quiet area...if you're looking for a little more action, head to St. Michaels, which is about a 20-25 minute drive. We spent one of our days with a few hours in St. Michaels for shopping/browsing and the remainder of the weekend watching the boats at the hotel's charming bayside area, along with sipping a drink and reading a good book. Weekend getaway. Property is older but nicely well maintained. Professional staff. Former owners had a full servce restaurant for a hot breakfast, new owners offer an extended continental breakfast and former restaurant dining room is now event space. Outdoor bar area offered a full service bar and nice selection of appetizer type foods. Rooms are small by industry standard, water pressure in shower was adequate at best. No phones in room. The $40 per night resort fee seemed extreme given the property’s offerings or lack there of.
