Never a bad time at the Mill. I've been going for years, and the staff are always amazing! The location is so serene. Like a little slice of heaven. I love the trails, and the views you get everywhere on the campus.
We visited during the annual jubilee on Labor Day weekend. This festival had the right mix of history, heritage, arts and crafts, food, and music!
Took a tour of the historic area and buildings. Amazing tour and historical restorations. Addition buildings put in place by the famous Barn Work Builders are on site and are a great fit having used old and reclaimed wood and wood from the Jackson's Mill campus. Additional buildings on the site are also well maintained and excellent learning spaces for the group of children who were there for an Invitational. Worth the stop just for the historical area.
It was a great place for an educational conference and everything was right where you needed it to be. Definitely gave it a top rating!
Homeschool Day and first time visitor. Beautiful spot and area.
