Super 8 by Wyndham Weston WV

Positive: This hotel is located near food, and the highway . The bed was nice a long with the pillows. Negative: I did not like the shady workers around the front door smoking. Just crowds of construction workers conjugating in the parking lot smoking and drinking. Also, it was really bad hearing people walk above my head as I tried to sleep.

This was the absolute worse hotel /motel I have ever stayed at. I don't like to write reviews often because I believe people will all have a different experience to learn. However I don't have high expectations on a lot of things... this was the worst experience I ever had. The staff was incredibly rude and didn't care abt anything. No t.v. no internet. Weather was crappy so couldn't go outside if you even wanted to. Trucks spinning in the parking lot all night. Room service was not good at all. I even heard the lady at the front tell a customer he couldn't have a extra towel because they was full. (Parking lot had abt 10 cars in it) The only good thing abt this place was location. Thank you to the staff for a memorable experience during my stay. Everyone was extremely friendly. Top 5 motel stay! I do hope you solve the idiots spinning on the parking lot snow for hours at a time. I’m not giving a bad review for something that’s out of your control. God bless everyone at Super 8

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel was convenient. The room was fine except for the smell. The bed was comfortable. There were enough pillows. The cleanliness was a bit of an issue. I found a pair of shoes and a shirt in my room that did not belong to us. They were on the floor beside the bed. Other than that, it was fine. It did make me wonder how detailed the rooms were cleaned.

A comfortable bed and room. Cobwebs in the corners, though, and very dusty around TV and back of bed. But overall, still OK. Only hot items for breakfast were a waffle machine and some gravy for biscuits. (So GREAT if yer a kid or a cowboy, I guess.) But no eggs or nongravy meat. (Fortunately, there's a decent McD right next door.) There is a nice Mexican-American resturant in the same strip mall complex that the motel is in, just on the other side. The motel does not keep the side-entrance doors closed (it keeps getting propped open by the smokers), which is a security issue in my opinion. But it is overall still a great little overnight travel motel in a great location, and the staff were pleasant to deal with in every respect. Better than many in the price range, I believe.
