I’m from snow hill and I felt ecstatic and proud that I had a place to take some friends of mine camping and kayaking. Dave was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. We all had a great time exploring the swamp and having a place to connect with each other in nature.
I’ve met the owner who runs this place, who is one of the nicest person on earth, he was very accommodating. The camp site was clean and very cozy. They have fishing ponds/piers, kayaking activities and walking trails. I highly recommend this place to peeps who wants to go camping and or outdoor activities. You won’t regret it. Thanks David for such a real fun experience.
Awesome place! Close to town but feels a million miles away! Very nice and knowledgeable owner! Stayed a week and had an amazing time!
Love it here. Sherry and Dave are helpful and work to make sure all are happy. Love the pond and Contenea Creek borders property. Great canoe and kayak access. Fish the creek or pond (pond is catch n release)
Primitive setting. Rustic shower. Very clean portable toilet. Lots of ducks. The cabins looked inviting. I pitched a tent for $20 in the grass infront of one of the cabins. I will gi again. Suits me.
