WoodSpring Suites Carol Stream - Chicago

My fiancé and I stayed here for quite a while, and I have to say, Eric—the gentleman at the front desk—made our experience unforgettable. He greeted us every time with a warm smile and genuine kindness. Whenever we had questions, he always had an answer, and he consistently made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Honestly, it’s hard to believe he isn’t already a manager. If there were ever an opportunity for him to step into that role, he’d have my full support. Eric truly embodies what great hospitality should feel like.

My stay at WoodSpring Suites was good, but not great. Here are the Pros &amp Cons - Pros - Customer Service - Jay? was phenomenal! Friendly and very helpful. Took care of several things I needed. Room was very clean. Water pressure was awesome. Bed was firm and fairly comfy. Great Price! Cons - Room was very poorly designed. No rack for suitcase, and cubbies were lame. Had to put my work bag and purse between sink and stovetop with barely enough room. Should have a low dresser with top even to TV shelf. Only place for suitcase if you didn't want it on the floor was the desk, but that left no other flat surface in room. Nightstand way too small, especially if you want a book on it. No Kleenex provided. They repaired a leak in the ceiling and did a poor job. It looked awful, but did no

This place is definitely the worst hotel I have ever stayed. First of all it is NOT a true hotel. It is a apartment building that basically has 4-5 rooms that are NOT lived in. |When we got there their key machine was down so no room keys. TV remote was nowhere to be found. They had to bring one to the room. There are multiple animals in the building. Dogs barked into the night then early the next morning. I requested on my booking online to have a blow dryer. NO BLOW DRYER in room so I was unable to take a shower the next morning. When I asked they just said " we dont have any' We decided to check out even though I paid for 2 nights. They will NOT refund my money. There are a lot of other nice hotels in the Carol Stream area. I would encourage you to stay somewhere else.

If anybody is planning to stay here DON’T they have ROACHES! I got in my room it was super clean at first glance the bed was comfy. I then started to open up the cabinets to look if there was anything in there, they have a electric stove top along with a microwave and full fridge so I thought there might have been some sort of utensils to use for cooking and eating, I open the cabinets under the sink and find a pest trap with multiple cockroach’s that were dead other than one that was still alive but was stuck to it. By the time I noticed the nasty roaches under the sink the front desk was completely closed and nobody was available. So I left. I’m hoping this review will help anyone in the future to NOT stay there, unless you want to take cockroaches home with you.

I’ve got the absolute absolute worst. Customer service in history here. I’m not sure what her name is, but she’s at the African-American manager is very very, very rude!!!!!! I tried to ask her About an extra charge and she told me that I was too ENTITLED!! She didn’t want to give me any towels, even though I brought my old ones down, She did not wanna let me in my room after I paid I had to ask the housekeeping to let me in. Please, if you go here because they have good prices just know you’re gonna get the worst Customer Service experience!!!!!
