Hampton Inn Chicago-Carol Stream

Breakfast was just absolutely amazing. I mean come on, omelets? It was just astounding! Everything was fresh, ALWAYS full and restocked! The front desk girl was amazingly nice and helpful. The room is great, everyone’s friendly. I would 100% stay here again. Super comfortable bed, nice showers, the amenities/toiletries are wonderful as well!!

My name is Tina Trumbower. I checked into room 304 in the latter part of August 2025, for 2 nights. My fiance joined me for a 3rd night before we checked out. I would like to tell Hilton corporation that 2 employees in particular are EXTREMEMLY VALUABLE for business and getting people to have a positive, clean, comfortable, quiet respite. Front desk,Julieta went above and beyond what is just standard ✔️ people I. I am a senior citizen and was not able to locate a luggage cart as a result lugged up little by little all my stuff. I received NO assistance from the employee's at desk. When I checked out, Miss Julieta was in charge and I once again I couldn't locate a cart, that dear girl found one and brought it up to my room so I could load it and take it to my car. Positive: This hotel is undergoing a remodel. Our floor (3rd) was redone, and our room looked very freshly redone and so that was good! It was quiet. Negative: Outside of our floor the hotel looked shabby and poorly maintained. The staff was often sitting outside in the back. The breakfast was lukewarm and not inviting. The bottom sheet on our bed wasn't big enough to fit the mattress so kept popping off!

The room was super clean. Everything was nice and orderly and dusted. The bed was nicely made. The window was a window. The service was really good. We only stayed one night so we didn't get much but they were quick when we needed towels at the pool and they had all their hot menu items for breakfast available. Nothing was empty or sold out or whatever. The location was decent, it's right off North avenue. That's a pretty busy street, so if you're looking for a hotel it's an easy find.

Definitely can not beat the price of this hotel. But not just the price but the rooms are really nice as well. Beds are comfortable and pillows aren’t to soft but not to firm either. Location is great because it’s near a variety of restaurants. The outside of the building doesn’t look to appealing however the inside has been getting a complete overhaul. The only thing I wish they had was a detachable shower head as I’m short and the people who have the rooms before me have them angled or settings different so I can’t change them.
