The host is super friendly and price is right! However, it’s on a very busy road and the traffic noise is extreme. Also, unfortunately, there is a very busy weed shop right behind where you camp open all night. Some pretty unsavory characters all around and walking by the trailer. It was fine for a quick overnight stop.
We booked at another RV campground, but our site was occupied. Called Woods RV Park, Trena answered. Asked if she had a spot for the night, she said yes and told us how to get here. She was waiting on the sidewalk for us, helped guide us into our site. Super friendly family owned park. Nice level sites,. Big enough for large rigs and very price friendly. Would highly recommend this park. Thank you so much Trena for helping us out. We will absolutely stay her again .
Quaint little place. Nice , clean, quiet (except for road noise) Would be nice if there were a bathroom/shower...but even without, we will totally stay here again.
This is officially our new go-to campground for a midpoint stop between DFW area and New Mexico. Still family-owned by a super nice couple. Clean park with full hookups at a reasonable price. (The campground we used to stay at in Post TX next to the tracks sold to a new owner and turned into a shady looking place. Got the heck out of there and these kind folks here at Woods got myself and friends a couple of sites in a pinch.) Needless to say, I'll be staying here at Woods RV Park again during future travels and recommend it to other RVers traversing the great USA!
Good safe place to overnight. Very reasonable, lots of great restaurants and downtown shopping is a short walk.
