Stopped in for the night passing through, and enjoyed our stay. It’s in a pretty good location next to a big fuel station, so that’s a plus. The entry and front desk are welcoming with very friendly staff and an awesome view of the second floor landing with handrails! The rooms with nice and also very clean with is a big plus. Comfy linen and beds. They had cast capable tvs with microwaves and a mini fridge. Had a good nights rest in a cold room!! Breakfast was great!! Blueberry muffins, danish, bread for toast, cereal, eggs, sausage bacon, waffles, 4 different juices and 24 hr coffee and more. Had a great convo with a friendly morning staff member. a check out was a breeze! Thank you BW for a quite comfortable stay.

Has to be the worst Best Westetn I've ever stayed at. Staff was rude, HVAC didn't work properly, TV had severe pixelation, shower dripped all night, and road traffic noise was intolerable

This hotel raises prices after booking. I travel every week for work. When I asked the manager got mad. He then told me never to come back. I travel for work so I need to stay in close proximity. I spend 1200.00 a month at Best Western and this is how I am treated. They do not honor government rates and they are not nice people. Do NOT recommend at all. Avoid this place rooms are mediocre, breakfast is ok runny watery powdered eggs, staff mostly are nice but not all.

(1) The clerk asked for documentation proving our service dog is a service dog. Not only is there no such thing (as there is no Federally required/controlled registry), he puts this hotel at risk of being sued for such a "requirement". (2) There are 2 empty and disconnected vending machines on the first floor. When we asked if they sell any munchies, the answer was 'no'. (3) A side entry door does not lock. Meaning a room key is not required and anyone can get into the building. Luckily, the King suite is clean and relatively quiet (next to a highway but we knew that when we booked it). Will not stay here again. Side note - fair warning - the 2 highly-rated BBQ restaurants in town are closed on weekends.

Overall great experience and value. Halls have new carpet. My room had fresh paint. Room was clean. Comfy bed. Staff was friendly. If I needed to be in Lubbock the night before an event, I'd stay here instead. Better value and cleaner than A Loft and Embassy Suites in Lubbock. Christmas lights a couple minutes from hotel. Old school Pizza Hut a couple minutes away.
