Woodlawn Hills Motel

Great little motel except was a little noisy due to a motorcycle rally in the area that night otherwise pleasurable.

We were heading home from Round Top antique shows and just need a place to lay our head. We checked out the room before paying. This is an older motel and could use some serious TLC. I ALWAYS check the room before bringing in or setting down my luggage — particularly for any type of bugs, hairs or stains. I didn’t find anything of the sort. There was a little water on the bathroom floor but the lady on duty said she had recently cleaned the bathroom and probably sprayed some out of the shower. After taking a shower, I have no doubt that that high pressure sprayed it out. The bathroom door had several coats of old paint so it wouldn’t close all the way. Big TV and bed. Staff is amazingly friendly, and happy to have you! The lobby smelled so good! The only thing I could recommend is selling whatever you’re cooking! Location is perfect and parking is great for each room. You can see your vehicle without worry of where you’re parked, if you worry about theft/breakins. Rooms are clean, well lit, warm, cable tv/wifi is free and water is hot! Beds are comfortable with more than enough pillows for your stay! Thank you for respecting my time on the phone while I was shopping prices. Most hotels/motels won’t tell you the nightly rate without their entire lineup of deals and surveys etc. I am happy to be here and that you had a room on an icy lock down night!

I stayed on 2/9/23 to 2/10/23 and I was very disappointed I went to take a shower in the morning before checking out and came to find out that the reason the room smell musty is because of black mold on the shower curtain. I contacted the hotel for a refund and at this point they are making it very difficult. Stating they need to speak to the owner. Why do you need to speak to an owner it’s black mold not sanitary. So I filed a complaint with Priceline and calling the health department in the morning. Going to go the doctors to see if I am exposed too. Perhaps they might think twice about black mold. No wonder why all the rooms doors where wide open with I arrive I stayed in Room 53 It’s funny how they responded and said that they spent the entire day in that room and found nothing. I wis

It's ok. Old place. Pretty clean overall. Bathroom floor could be cleaner. Especially in the corners. Plumbing could use some attention. Beds are comfortable and clean. Pay for two, one coffee provided. No place to plug the coffee maker in. Would stay again if in Henderson I suppose. I think it is overpriced for what you get.
