Woodland Retreat Cabins

Update 10-25, second stay, should be amazing, We loved the cabin and property. Area is very private yet close to hiking, wineries. We loved sitting on front covered porch drinking our coffee listening to a distant rooster, cows, crows. Didn't find the 100 acre farm trail but found the creek to the waterfall and bluff across the road. Cabin had everything. Hot tub was nice after long hike, nice fire pots and the $15 for firewood was fine got a nice stack that lasted and left some for next guest (your welcome). No complaints. Coming back this fall .

If you want to get away to total quiet and seclusion, this is your place. Cabin is clean and well appointed. The owners built it themselves as a family, which I thought was cool, and they obviously knew what they were doing. Property has its own "back woods" that connects to another little path and stream. There's a winery next door, but you'd never know it. There's a fire pit, a gas start charcoal grill and a camp grill too. Beds were perfect. Jacuzzi was so relaxing and warm (58 degrees on Aug. 5--who knew?) and was very clean and obviously well-maintained, as was the whole property. My and my family had a great time. It exceeded my expectations. The cabin is surround by forest which I loved. Enjoyed the hot tub. Really nice inside. I loved everything. Some might think it's a little out of the way but I enjoyed it.

Our very favorite place to stay on the wine trail. The cabin owners are fantastic on every level and personally take care of every need/ request you may require. Cabin is always spotless with all the amenities you could ask for. Beautiful location with deer & other wildlife abundant. We love it !!!!

Amazing cabin!! It is very clean, the owners pay attention to detail. I love the information book they’ve put together of local wineries, tourist attractions, parks and also showing the building of the cabin. The hot tub is amazing and the hammocks are a great touch for a lazy afternoon of resting. Feather Hills winery is just yards away and is a very nice, smaller & more intimate winery. They also have live music on Saturday evening’s, which as a nice touch. It is nice with privacy of not having other cabins around you. You feel very secluded. The only thing is they do not have WiFi, but if you have unlimited data, you’ll be fine. The cell phone reception was great.
