This place is VERY VERY dated. The bed is right up against the ac unit. The carpet is musty smelling & stinks. . I would NEVER stay here again nor would i ever recommend it. Hair dryer ripped off the wall. Door handle to bathroomis broken off. Shower metal is rusted. Its horrible. Its in a rough neighborhood also.

The location of the hotel was convenient, and the exterior looked nice, but the experience inside was disappointing. Upon entering, there was an unpleasant odor, and the carpet was outdated and stained. The elevator was fine, but once we got to our room, the smell was even stronger. The beds were actually comfortable and high, which was one of the few positives.||The bathroom, however, was concerning. There were black spots on the ceiling, and the shower head was covered in scum, mildew, and buildup that looked like it had been there for quite some time.||Breakfast was also a letdown. The muffins were extremely dry, the waffles were surprisingly bad (something I’ve never experienced at other hotels), and the rest of the food was overcooked and unappealing. The pool didn’t look clean either

Hotel is dated. Room were musty. Stains all over the carpet. NO BED BUG COVERS on the mattresses. No USB ports. Rusted fixtures in bathroom. Breakfast was bad. The waffle maker was so old we couldn't get the waffles off the griddle. I couldn't believe the low class of this hotel. This Wingate should be condemned. It's in a scary part of town. Don't go here it's horrible

We checked in at 1am on 9/13/25. The young man that waited on us was awesome. Breakfast was really good. I broke my left ankle and right foot so we got 117 the handicap room. Only down side was no shower chair. Bed was really comfortable. Would stay again.
