Staybridge Suites Montgomery - Downtown by IHG

We arrived 20 minutes early and weren't allowed to check in, even as diamond elite. We weren't even allowed to park until check in so went off and did something else for a while. Checking in later we had to ask for the welcome amenity, no room upgrade. The car parking is also terrible, either you get lucky and can park inside the hotel or you're outside in a gated compound where there's mattresses and homeless people wandering around. The breakfast was pretty good though and the room was nice but alot of street noise especially on the 2nd floor. Overall if the staff were a bit more welcoming then the stay would've been better.

My family (including our 2 dogs) highly enjoyed our stay at the Montgomery Staybridge! The rooms were very NICE and CLEAN! The staff was friendly, helpful, and must have been doing their job with pride because they had the place looking well kept and it had a great vibe/atmosphere. The crew that was taking care of the breakfast kept the items refilled and area clean. We had not planned to stay in Montgomery but our vehicle broke down in the middle of the night. Thankfully we happened to be close enough to this pet friendly hotel to limp in. Thank goodness it was this comfortable and pleasant place to stay because it was definitely a positive highlight that made all the difference amongst a string of bad circumstances. This place is classic, top service, comfortable beds, quiet and peaceful with the best continental breakfast. Everything is freshly cooked. The service is high quality and a great place for family and friends to stay while visiting im Montgomery, Alabama.

Positive: Nice bed & clean. Negative: Showerhead terrible no flow. Sofa bed right next to AC unit too close were my child slept. Had to pay for parking in hotel parking lot.

We actually had two full bedrooms and bathrooms with a door for privacy! It is exceedingly hard to find this type of layout. The kitchen was well stopped and the living space was ample. Plus the location is excellent for touring the Montgomery historical sites
