Windrifter Resort

Enjoy a lovely day at the Winn drifter resort. The indoor pool brought back memories of growing up here has a child and swimming in the pool in the cold winter days. The room is well appointed, neat, and clean, and I had a view of the golf course. Lovely place to stay in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire!

This is a beautiful location and the rooms are spacious, but there are some downsides. There is no ventilation in the kitchen so I had to cook with sliding door open to a snowstorm. There is no dishwasher or garbage disposal, making clean up more time consuming than it needs to be.

Positive: Its very dated and there were obvious repairs needed Negative: There was no housekeeping provider for our twp night stay. The soap in the bathroom was the size of a razor blade and no hair conditioner

Windrifter is a resort south of Wolfeboro, quiet, at least the weekend we were there.|It appears to be a timeshare rental that has seen better days. Our room had a distinctly fishy odor near the front door. The room was described as a “studio, small villa“ it contained a small kitchen table and small sink, stove and refrigerator. There was coffee available at registration in the morning. Plenty of parking, set back from the highway, so it was quiet.

Booked for two nights extended to three as it was so good.|There are two options at this resort, the one slightly out of the centre by the golf course or the yacht club accommodation that I highly recommend.|Really good apartments on the lake with a balcony in the town centre. You can walk to everything including a supermarket.|The apartments have everything you need to cook in.|Lots of bars and restaurants close by.|Great place to stay, highly recommend it.
