Customer Reviews
I recently returned home after spending 6 days at Piping Rock Resort. Each unit is individually owned and decorated/set up by the owner’s preference. I like the fact that you can choose which cottage or efficiency you want. I had a beautiful stay, the private beach is beautiful and the free kayaks are fun to use. In the past I have stayed in different cottages on the property. I have always found them clean and management accomadating. Anyway…I truly enjoy it there, and can’t wait until my next visit.
My husband and I spent 2 nights at Piping Rock Resort. Charlie was wonderfully helpful and accommodating with our reservation and our late arrival. Our room was simple but very clean, well appointed and quiet with a beautiful view and balcony. It had this wonderful little coffee maker that could whip up our coffee into a latte. There are kayaks, canoes and paddle boards to use free of charge, a volleyball court, horse shoes and other fun games on site. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend Piping Rock Resort!
We stayed in efficiency 7 in August 2020. The room is roomy, clean, comfortable and well stocked The photo angles make the room look small - don't be fooled. The room has a great kitchenette, well stocked. The bathroom is full bath, clean and good shower, as well. The property is tucked into the woods and is on the lakeside. Great fishing, great restaurants down the road 5 minutes. Hosts Carol & Gary are willing and work hard to ensure your stay is awesome. Go if you can -it is definitely a great place to go.
The best part of Piping Rock is the Lake Access with free kayaks and boats. The lake is beautiful and the swimming is great. Cottage 10 is very old and very dirty and kinda small for a family of 4. Not cleaned at all and they charge you a $100 cleaning fee. Also it is falling apart. The handle fell off the frigde. There was dirt in the couch and on the floor and on the TV. The place is very old and needs a face lift. you kinda feel icky staying at the cottage. it has a nice porch and is steps from the lake. For $380 a night all in with the cleaning and management fee, you expect more. Also No Air Conditioning. Charlie was a nice guy and accommodating.
The lovely cottage we stayed in on Lake Winnipesaukee was perfect! The lake view was magnificent and the accommodations were fine! COVID ready we had a remarkable vacation. We were able to BBQ our meals outside our cottage and safely distance from other visitors. Swimming was absolutely divine! The Resort will hook you up if you’d like a boat rental which was fantastic.
