Customer Reviews
When we arrived, our reservation hadn't been processed (both our faults) and the owner wasn't expecting us. She rallied and made it possible for us to stay in her smallest room that was pretty, with our only concerns being no shower and the temperature of the cold water was warm at its coolest. When you make reservations (which we HIGHLY recommend that you go), try to stay in one of the other rooms if possible. However, if this is the only room available, take it!! I am thrilled that Carolyn made room for us, and I could easily have enjoyed three nights there on her great-great grandfather's property. So peaceful and such lovely landscaping. Plus, our breakfast of an apple German Pancake was out of this world. Don't miss this one.
My Wife found this little out-of-the-way place online, and booked it for our anniversary. It was quiet, peaceful, delightful, and certainly full-featured. Each morning, we were delivered a delightful home-made breakfast just outside our bedroom door. We relaxed in a jetted tub. We spent some time streaming a movie or two. We were close enough to visit some great restaurants, and do some sight-seeing around the valley. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and we look forward to visiting again sometime in the future. If you book someplace else, you're definitely missing out!
Such a wonderful place. Breakfast is amazing and I love how you can have breakfast brought up to your room. Carolyn is so friendly and I felt like I was leaving a friend. So beautifully decorated for Christmas as well. If you have been someone that is uncertain of a bed and breakfast this a great one to try.
My husband and I stayed here on 12/27/09 and had a wonderful time. Our suite was spacious and charming, but our favorite things about this B&B were the amazing homeade blackberry crepes, the pet deer named "Bonnie," and the 20 acres of beautiful land that we were permitted to roam. Oh, and Bob and Carolyn were quite enjoyable too. Bonnie, the deer will come right up to you and let you pet her! We had such a nice time and would highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves nature.||Ps. Don't miss out on Patti's restaurant (and settlement) - the food and the decorations are to die for!!!!
I had an incredible comfortable room(BY THE LAKE) which suited me perfectly as a solo traveler. The grounds are wonderful which you can enjoy at your leisure. Carolyn is an absolute delightful hostess and the blueberry pancakes are not to be missed. ||Spotlessly clean I couldn't have wished for anything more. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
