Days Inn by Wyndham Calvert City/Paducah East

Friendly staff, nice room, comfy bed, decent breakfast. I would have given them 5 stars except that my credit card was charged 3 times for our room and all three charges were different amounts! The gentleman at the desk in the morning didn't know how to credit my account and told me the manager would take care of it. I hope so!!

Stayed here while my truck was broken down. Pet friendly, decent wifi at the back of the building, and smoker friendly for those of us too lazy to stand outside. Office folks were polite and quick. Rooms are a bit in the outdated side, but the price for the room is decent enough all things considered. Outside was clean, room was clean, and the bed and all towels were clean and available. This isn't the Hilton, and can't expect the Hilton. Would happily return if the need arises again.

Nice clean room. Beds and pillow a little hard for my back. Quite area close to KY Lake for hicking. Very convient on off interstate. Only resturants near by was Cracker barrel. McDonalds They did have ceral and toast for light breakfast. The award winng BBQ was already sold out of all meets except pulled pork. That was a dissapointment.

Positive: "" Negative: The hotel was fine for the price. However, the room I was given appeared clean until I went to take a shower. The tub, floor, and toilet had hair all over. The bed was decent and I did get decent rest.

We experienced car problems and had to stay in Calvert City overnight awaiting a ride. The first room we were given had a cockroach in the bathtub. I took the smashed roach in a tissue to the front desk. He said to me they cannot control what guests bring in! We would have asked for a refund and moved on, but we had no means of transportation! The motel moved us to another room. I completed a review for the motel chain and received a generic response to my complaint. I would not ever recommend a motel with roaches, and definitely one where staff and management do not appear to consider roaches a concern.
