Wilderness Inn Motel

We ate breakfast there and it was amazing. The best chicken fried steak in awhile. Eggs where perfect and scrispy hashbrowns. Service was great as well. Good coffee and the kids loved looking around the restaurant. Hopefully we can try a room there sometime soon as well since everyone that stayed seemed so happy.

Stopped for lunch around 12:15 travelling north on highway 12 heading for Missoula (not many choices along highway 12). Curb appeal, other vehicles (including 5 motorcycles) parked in front, must be reasonable price for good food. Cool interior with many taxidermy wildlife mounted on the walls. Friendly service, god seating. By the time we put in our order all tables were in use. Had the Turkey and the Tuna Sandwiches, one with a side salad the other with cottage cheese (the third option was a bag of potato chips). Sandwiches on fresh bread, lots of content. Washrooms basic and clean, credit cards accepted. Good place to stop for lunch.

It was so beautiful inside! It had a lot of Taxidermy animals all over the place. It had a lot of Idaho n the surrounding areas history. The food was amazingly good. The staff was very friendly and funny. It is a good place to grab a quick bite or take the family too. Very reasonable prices. Free parking. Table service. It's very beautiful inside and the view out the windows was amazing!

Was riding my Goldwing to Seattle, the long way, from Edm. Ab. Canada. Was about 8 pm when I came across this Motel. The lady in the Cafe', who also checked me in was very friendly, pleasant and informative. Was an extremely quiet area and room. Went to the Cafe' for breakfast and wasn't disappointed, excellent huge breakfast. Overall, a stress free sleep and meal. Would go again in a heartbeat!

Great service and food! They made everyone feel like family!! Welcomed bikers! It was a picturesque ride and then a great diner! The coffee and burgers hit the spot! Heard of bolt of lightning right when we got on the bike. What a noise through the canyon!
