Kooskia City Park

Very amazing little town and city park. Feels like real America. Strong community and amazing people to chat with. Bike packing and stopping in this lovely town and city park was a treat. And getting a huge and delicious breakfast burrito in the town at 7am was just heaven. Toilet and water available. Very clean, very beautiful! Very grateful. When setting up tent make stay away from sprinklers 🤷 🤣 The river sound makes for a great sleep.

This Park is local to me. Keep your ears open, because a lot goes on here. Saturday Markets, Volleyball mayhem and a great place to bring your kids. Theres a playground and a fountain to play in. Its right on the South Fork of the Clearwater, and just above the mouth of the river which dumps into the Clearwater. Great place to run your dog if if they behave, or just have a friendly sit down or picnic with family and friends. Once a month there is an Azure pickup here. Its just a great local meet up place where people plan their activities.

Lovely spot for free camping. This is along the trans-america trail. Take a dip in the river and have a bite at the Kooskia Cafe.

It's a fun park, kids toys, splash pad, basketball and baseball areas.

Very nice and clean park and they have a farmers market every Thursday from 11 to 3
