Wild Horse Inn

Amazing place to stay in Corolla. We stayed for the first time over the Labor Day weekend. Clean spacious room with all of the amenities. Great view of the courtyard from the back porch, we enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning. The owner, John was very pleasant. We look forward to staying again and we highly recommend to others.

I almost booked a stay at a chain hotel - and took a chance here instead ... I'm SO SO glad I did. This is establishment is truly a family affair - and it shows (in the best possible way). From the owners being so friendly, to the awesome coffee provided by their daughter at The Banana Dog right out front! The atmosphere is so cute and welcoming - and you can tell attention to detail is huge. So cozy - location is great. They have a gorgeous patio area with plenty of seating and awesome food and drinks. We planned a lot of beach time and wanted to visit all the sites - this was a perfect home base do all of that. HIGHLY recommend - a perfect stay!

We had a fantastic experience at The Wild Horse Inn! After our original venue unexpectedly closed early, they welcomed our large group without hesitation. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so taken care of. The outdoor space was beautiful—spacious, inviting, and perfect for a group gathering. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the bacon pimento grilled cheese, and it was seriously one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. If you’re in Corolla, definitely check out this hidden gem—you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic Inn. I was greater by the owner, John. Our double room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The Inn had a bar, small restaurant and a great outdoor space. We rented an EV golf cart from the Inn to zip around. I would stay here again. The coffee cart right out front was delicious 😋

Wild Horse Inn exceeded our expectations! We booked rooms 7 and 9 for a vacation with extended family. Both rooms were extremely clean, well organized, and had everything we needed for our stay. When our dinner plans fell through one night, we were happy for the cafe on site. The young adults working that evening were friendly and professional, and the food was good. There was live music while we were there that was great as well. In theory there is public beach access that is walkable, but due to physical limitations of some family members, we opted to drive. Had we understood how the inn was laid out, we would have realized that the 2nd floor isn't a long hallway with rooms (as we had imagined).
