Hampton Inn & Suites Outer Banks/ Corolla

My stay at the Hampton Inn in Corolla was incredible. The beachfront location is stunning, and room 318 was a true gem. I initially had issues with my first room due to water on the ceiling and a mold smell, but Helen handled the situation quickly, professionally, and with such kindness that it greatly improved my experience. She also provided thoughtful local recommendations and consistently greeted guests with warmth. I also appreciated the breakfast attendant with glasses—despite speaking little English, she was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and made mornings brighter. Overall, the staff’s attentiveness and care made my stay exceptional, and I can’t wait to return.

Positive: Location. Location. Location. Right on the beach! Breakfast was great every day. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, lazy river, hot tub and hammocks -so awesome. Guests could do laundry for free, which was great for an extended stay. Definitely coming back! Negative: Pets are allowed and there was a dog barking like mad for hours right next to us. It forced us to shut our door and not be able to hear the ocean sounds.

Wonderful team members and great locations. They make delicious fresh cookies. Staff are super nice and helpful especially Jami, Adam, Shawn and Karen. Although the rooms might be a bit dated but if you’re on a budget, highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again.

Have stayed several times in OBX, mixture of homes and hotels, always enjoy staying. Clean, friendly staff and comfortable. First time here at the holidays and love the decorations, felt like your visiting a family member or friend. Will definitely be back

This was our 4th year visiting Corolla for our Wedding Anniversary since we got married there. We stayed here the second night of our trip and absolutely loved it. It was a beautiful, well kept hotel. Our room was clean and had such a fresh smell to it. The hot breakfast was wonderful, as well as the never ending supply of coffee (the way to my heart). Check in/check out process was awesome using the Hilton app. We never even had to go to the front desk. I also loved that the staff texts you after check in to make sure everything is ok with your room so far. The grounds were clean and the views were amazing. We will definitely be staying here again! Great stay for couples or families with children. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
